Risper Kamathi Mutethia is a bright child from a disadvantaged and poor family background. Her father, Josphat never got any inheritance from his parents. His mother gave birth to him while a teenager much earlier before her current marriage. Both his biological and step fathers disowned him and since then the young Josphat grew up with his old, ailing and poor grandmother. His current epileptic condition was diagnosed when he was a small boy but unfortunately his grandmother could not afford specialized medical attention.  It was hard for the old lady even to afford food and formal education for the young Josphat. As a lad, Josphat relocated to Nairobi in search of a livelihood some 15 years ago. He met his wife, Lucyline a few years later and started a family. Lucyline also from a poor background had her share of challenges but both have since lived together as husband and wife for the past 9 years. With their meager income, Josphat hardly get enough to buy medication for his epileptic condition and meet the rest of the family needs. He has to pay for his rented makeshift accommodation, buy food, and raise school fees for his children. To break the cycle of poverty, the family is determined to raise up their children in the way of the lord and give them the best of education possible.  it is their desire that uplift a child organization will lessen their burden if one or all of their children are considered for education sponsorship.
